Nominations will open from NOW until 23:59 GMT on Friday 24th November 2017
Only SELF NOMINATIONS will be accepted.
Current GM's MAY nominate themselves for another term.
Players may nominate themselves for one guild only.
The nominations should be posted in reply to the guild-specific nomination thread.
The nomination process should be considered an out of character activity, running mates may be declared at this time who will serve as GL and interim GM in your absence.
Players should post on the appropriate guild nomination thread and detail why they are best suited for the position.
Nominees should consider detailing the following:
What changes and improvements they wish to drive forward for the guild.
How they intend to enhance roleplay within the guild.
How they will strengthen inter-guild relationships.
Anything else that may help their campaign.
If A guild does not receive any nominations from members then an appropriate Staff Hero will take place of interim GM until a time where a suitable full time GM can be put in place.
Voting
After the nominations close, voting will take place and be completed by 00:01 GMT on 8th December 2017.
Voting will be open for PLAYERS to choose thier GM. Players who have been nominated MAY vote for themselves.
To be eligible to vote, player characters must have been created PRIOR to 1st October 2017. Only 1 vote per guild per player will be allowed
Voting will take place in the guild-specific voting thread.
Character email address must match your forum email address in order to vote.
In the event of a tie, Admin will provide the tie breaking vote.
During the voting period, players may participate in public voting/discussion for the candidates in the guild-specific voting threads.
After voting has completed, the results will be announced in each guild-specific nomination thread.
Guildmaster Roles and Responsibilities
Be capable of putting time and effort into the game for a minimum of 6 months.
Be capable of generating and driving roleplay within and external to the guild.
Be willing to support the work performed by Cosrin Staff to expand and improve the guild.
Be open to creating and running events and contests for the guild, to promote player interaction and activity.
Be capable of providing detailed information on the needs of the guild, whether it be items, skills, or something else.
Be informed, to the best of your abilities, on combat mechanics and hunting areas, as they apply to your guild.
Be informed, to the best of your abilities, on the ins and outs of the subguilds that exist in your guild.
Be willing to help new players to the guild and game.
Be capable of reading and posting on the forums, both public to players and private between guildmasters and staff.
Guildmaster Capabilities -
Change player prefixes.
Use the guild treasury and guild locker.
Start guild votes.
Modify the guild notices.
Summon players lost or in trouble.
Change the guild titles for the guild.
Act as the de jure focal point between staff and players.
Maintain an unparalleled position to drive discussions related to skills, items, and playstyles (including overall game balance) to staff that may be overlooked.
The ability to determine additional capabilities that need be bestowed upon guildmasters.
(Future)Define the guild charter for Cosrin: A New Dawn for the guild.
(Future)Directly manage and modify the guild's official webpages on the Cosrin: A New Dawn website.
(Future)Purchase additional rooms and items with the guild treasury.
(Future)Directly adjust the stat distribution (but not amount) on guild items.
