The Heroes of Cosrin: A New Dawn are made up solely of volunteers and work hard on improving the game and providing help and support for the players. If they’re not working behind the scenes you might catch them roaming the lands.
Anister - Due to a fortuitous celestial accident at sea, a merchant from the isles east of the mainland of Cosrin became touched with divine powers. Mysterious shards from a heavenly body fell across the lands under what some would consider the watchful eye of Naz’skrilt, The Elementalist. When this constellation shines bright overhead, Anister’s powers rise to near godlike capacity. The opposite can be said for his weakness and insatiable nature when the stars don’t shine for him properly. He now appears as an elf of unknown origin and an unusual complexion even for the most knowledgeable. An elf with a constant hunger for those pieces of orange crystal that have fallen from the sky. In the meantime, relics and artifacts of all sorts will have to temporarily sate his ever increasing appetite.
Aosch - A wandering apothecary that has traveled the island, and many more over, in search of trinkets, baubles, and knowledge the likes of which most mortals can barely comprehend.
Binx - A gnome of considerable magical power, he just lacks the focus and patience to take time to learn the theory before acting. As a pupil, he burned down his city library when he misread a spell and mixed up the runic word for light with fire while studying at night. Once the flames were put out he was tasked with restoring all the knowledge he had destroyed, earning himself the nickname “Scrollbane”. Travelling from land to land, he learns what he can - both good and bad - after all, knowledge is knowledge!
Cole - A sentient tree with elven features, Cole Hartwood explores the lands of Cosrin with ardent intrigue. The ways of the city folk are foreign to the treant, so it may seem a bit odd, but is mostly harmless and means well. It knows very little arcane magic, instead using its flowers for powerful effects. However, its leaves should never be eaten. Often it can be found standing in the sunlight.
Everett - A travelling disciple whose desire to spread the truth of the Gods leads him to places where their existence remains a mystery. His manner of sharing this knowledge comes with an enigmatic spin, encouraging others to find their own answers. Clearly not settling in one place for long, his constant worn and weathered appearance leaves many guessing as to how he spends his days.
Felix - A mysterious and odd-looking Gnome, he appeared on the island in the blink of an eye. Those who have been graced with his presence find that he leaves any conversation in much the same manner. Little is known of him beyond the rumors of his good fortune and uncanny luck - saving him a time or two in the past. Where he came from, who he represents, and what motives he may have - if any - remain unknown.
Ghull - This Elven Necro-Shaman was washed up on the beach of Moorgate during a fierce storm. A hardy group of adventurers heard his cries for help from within an oak barrel. He claims to have been cast overboard from a pirate ship that he had secured passage on but has said little about where he is from or where he was going. He is often found in or around the graveyard where strange goings on have been reported by those living nearby.
Grimm - An old wily ex-rogue who hails from the streets of Moorgate. He is a merchant of information and all knowledge is for sale. He has spent his whole life living in the shadows listening to the secret conversations of nobles and beggars alike. If there is a secret to be learned he most likely knows it.
Hyssop - A simple forest elf who has spent the entirety of her life tending to the blessings of nature, using her innate talents to grow and tend to the young saplings and herbage of the forests on the island, and her bond with it to feel when atrocities are committed against nature itself.
Kaethil - A cunning drow priestess who hails from the lost city below the Shirintai Forest and has come to the city of Moorgate as an emissary of sorts. She has befriended the Rogues’ Guild, to the mild satisfaction of some, and the dire panic of others. She almost always travels with an entourage of heavily armored drow slave-guards.
Kalulu - A wild rabbit blessed with sentience through some ancient and archaic magic that has long since been lost to the wind. He has a deep love of cake and other sugary treats; perhaps the reason he always appears to be on edge and with some place to go. Unfortunately, his frantic visits leave his intentions somewhat of a mystery.
Karzam - A dragon-kin, roams the lands with determination. A powerful magi-knight who carries the sword of justice and wields magic with equal power, he defends the innocents. Heavy hearted at the death of his wife and the kidnap of his son, Talos, at the hands of miscreants unknown his ultimate goal is to avenge them. Always friendly to those on the right side of the law and holding his pledge to the constellation of the shield he manages to keep his personal rage in check.
Mombique - An orcish hermit residing just outside the borders of Moorgate, Mombique is an unpredictable yet serene practioner of the dark arts. Friendly with the various peoples of the lands, he is said to travel from place to place, offering services of healing and exorcism. Although posessed of a certain insight and wisdom, the Witch Doctor gives off the impression of madness, possibly due to his heavy usage of mind-altering substances. Is he coming? Is he going? There’s no earthly way of knowing.
Tias - A pirate captain with a penchant for drinking and gambling. Always on the search for new treasures in exotic places, she has recently run into a string of bad luck that has left her stranded on the isle of Cosrin. If there’s gold to be offered, Tias is up for the job.
Tilius - A gnomish engineer who hails from Briliatore with a band of helpful gnomish apprentices to assist him in his craft, he can often be seen making visits to the populated city of Moorgate to request assistance in getting the parts he needs or showing off his latest invention; unfortunately for the citizens, testing is something he prefers to do in production rather than in a sandbox of safety.
Verack - An old fashioned dwarf, he has spent his life as a tower guard at the last bastion of his society’s culture: The Dwarven Stronghold of the Misty Vale Mountains. Countless years of battle against the Hill Giants have left him bitter and in search of some deus ex machina with which to end the war once and for all. Unlike the vast majority of his brethren, he has managed to accumulate some arcane knowledge, harnessing it in ways that are heretofore unknown to even the most devout Mages in the city of Moorgate.—
